About Infrared Transit (Conveyor) Heat & Flame Sensors
The 5000 Series includes a range of early warning infrared transit heat sensors.
These IR temperature sensors are designed to monitor and detect, in the presence of ambient light, ‘hot spots' and embers from materials such as coal, biomass or recycled waste being transported on conveyor systems.
Infrared Transit (Conveyor) Heat Sensors
5000 Series
Combustible materials such as coal being transported on conveyor systems have the potential to self-ignite. An IR temperature sensor can provide early warning protection along a conveyor susceptible to conditions of excessive heat, avoiding catastrophic fire damage and substantial consequential losses.

Infrared Transit (Conveyor) Flame Sensors
5000 Series
The 5000 Series includes a range of early warning infrared transit flame sensors designed to monitor and detect, in the presence of ambient light, transported material temperatures up to 240˚C in products during manufacture or processing such as food, biomass or recycled waste being transported on conveyor systems.

Upcoming Event
Attending the UK’s No.1 Fire Safety Event in 2023
Patol will be an exhibitor at the Fire Safety Event 2023 in Birmingham on Stand 3a/J58. As the UK’s No.1 Fire Safety Event, it is dedicated to supporting industry practitioners and professionals in achieving the highest standards of fire safety management.
Patol will be showcasing our Flagship 5000 series Atex IECEx Infra-red Heat/flame transit sensors for moving heat or fire conditions on conveyors. Our EN54-28 approved Digital non-resettable and our Analogue resettable Linear Heat Detection cables, c/w distance location modules that pinpoint heat or fire condition within a Metre. Patol’s Securiton Aspirating smoke detection with heated sample points for freezer applications, Low Dba for Libraries/art galleries and powerful fan for large warehouses. The ADW line type detection EN54-22 approved ROR resettable detector. Thermal cameras c/w vehicle discrimination for recycling/EFW plants and our EN54-22 FibreSense Linear heat detection system for tunnel and infrastructure detection.
