can be applied to various mechanisms that operate on different principles
and have quite different operational characteristics and functional
parameters, as shown by the above chart. There are two
principal types - ANALOGUE
and DIGITAL.
PATOL produces both ANALOGUE and DIGITAL electical LHD cable types.
Analogue LHDC has the advantage of adjustable alarm levels, resetability
and short circuit fault discrimination. Digital LHDC has a fixed trigger
level and is "one shot" in operation, however its simple
nature does not require a dedicated controller.
