The system can detect both fire conditions and abnormal PRE-IGNITION anomalies such as occur with PRB coal. The "Laws of Physics" design enables detection of "buried" embers.

Sensor head lenses are prevented from obscuration on dusty sites by air purging. Patol can provide localised blowers when an on site air supply is not available. See 5010/5020 Manual.
